Forty-six years ago today, Bobby Seale and Huey Newton formed the Black Panther Party. While Newton would suffer from an untimely demise, the Black Panther Party, with their Black pride and robust services to the community, highlighted a time when Blacks were about self-sufficiency, self-determination, and community.
