Met Raheem in his hometown DC. While recording, “Triple P” in 2004. He told me he wanted to do a cover of Paul Simon’s, “50 Ways”. 24 hours and 100 takes later we had and amazing performance in his own style. He killed it!
Only issue was that his label didn’t want to clear it. BASTARDS. This forced me to make a last minute call to Tiombe who suggested Rogier to recover the track.
